I was overjoyed to find this play a few years ago, mainly because I’m from Peoria, and never knew it existed before. Aside from the so-so sound quality, this is such a great, and honestly believable, drama. Even down to the mentioning of particular landmarks such as War Memorial Dr (a Main Street through town)) and the Mclugage Bridge, which spans the Illinois river East to West. It’s almost a cross-over of War of the Worlds and Night of the Living Dead scenario. And I love that it was performed by Bradley University staff, even though I attended ISU. Go Redbirds! I still listen to it every few months. Good stuff right here.
